Afrikaanse Idols was a special season of Southbound Africanrealityinteractive show Idols South Africa based on the British forte show Pop Idol.

In inconsistency to the rest of position series this season was booked entirely in Afrikaans as interpretation host, judges and contestants plainspoken not speak English on picture show and every song was performed in Afrikaans.
