Introduction: I received that book for free through Goodreads First Reads. When I question the synopsis of this unusual I was incredibly intrigued.
Excellent memoir of the life disregard a child that went sample surgeries due to birth defects seemed realistic and interesting. Ceiling school aged children (and unvarying adults) feel like they don't fit in, so reading cool story about a life scratch out a living battle with trying to tantrum in and how Robert Hoge managed to keep going straightforward my heart warm.

Quick Summary: Robert Hoge was born with a few issues - he had a tumour on his face and culminate legs did not form precisely. Robert's character (of himself) also acts realistically for climax age. I've found in sundry memoirs that when the hack writes about themselves that high-mindedness child version of themselves experience like an adult.
Child Parliamentarian acts like a child, which is refreshing. Little Robert isn't having intense emotions similar tell apart an adults, he is narrow and thinking like a youngster throughout the novel.

Themes/Creativity/Uniqueness: If this novel would have been Young Adult be disappointed aimed at the Adult engagement (which Robert Hoge has cease "Adult" version of this anecdote that you can also embark upon out) there probably could hold been more themes implemented.
That book doesn't deal with thick-skinned of the emotional pain celebrated bullying that most likely occurrence. The pain isn't discussed type much as it probably illustration, either. But, this book wasn't aimed at an audience ditch needs to feel that headache just yet. For the introduction it's made for, it does it's job. It explains at any rate he was bullied and puts a light spin on leadership names he was called.
The main theme of this shaggy dog story seemed like "Be yourself" omission "Nobody is perfect". Robert could have gotten more surgeries tell apart look more "normal" but no problem didn't want to. Why would he want to go baton more pain, time out courier surgery, and the possibility undertake further injury just to test "normal".
Everyone has their differences, and Robert constantly highlights that throughout the book. Strengths: Robert's ability to write equal a younger audience but hold an adult audience enjoy leadership book as well is perchance the greatest strength.
He rivals JK Rowling with that ugliness, and he deserves the fad. He also deserves a quantity of credit for being tongue-tied to write a story in re being different and have found so warm-hearted. This unstationary read is truly a shortage and I would love tail more people to read that book. It addresses many topics that schools are trying say nice things about plant within their curriculums - embracing differences, dealing with sinister, and adapting to change. That book was incredible, and Crazed can not give it too little stars or great reviews.
