Fiorello Henry La Guardia (sometimes LaGuardia) (pronounced /fiəˈrɛloʊ ləˈɡwɑrdiə/; local Fiorello Enrico La Guardia) was Mayor of New York Bit for three terms from 1934 to 1945.
