The Clayton Brothers is the brain daughter of saxophonist Jeff Clayton.

According to Jeff, some 30 era ago he and his relative, Grammy Award-winning bassist John Clayton, agreed to support each other's preferred formats. Jeff's love taste small groups lead to generation of the Clayton Brothers Composition. John's love for big bands led to formation of decency Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra with merchant Jeff Hamilton, of which sibling Jeff is a part.

Greatness band's latest album The Assembly was released in December 2012. Jeff Clayton died on Dec 16, 2020, after suffering propagate kidney cancer.[1] He was 66 years old.
